Nimrod Capital’s chosen charity Myeloma UK – is supported by Anson

1st November 2012 - 12:12 pm

On the invitation of Nimrod Capital, one of Anson’s respected associates, Anson was pleased to support one of their chosen charities by advertising in the brochure for MyelomaUK’s 15th Anniversary Dinner to be held on 8 November 2012 at the Dorchester Hotel in London. As their website explains:

“MyelomaUK is the only organisation in the UK focusing exclusively on myeloma, a devastating cancer of the bone marrow. Our work aims to ensure that patients benefit from research, get the treatment they need and access to the best possible care and information. We are making good progress however much more still needs to be done. Myeloma remains incurable with poor survival outcomes. As a consequence we need to ensure that the next treatment is available to patients when they need it and it is essential that we raise the funds necessary for this work to continue. Myeloma UK receives no Government funding and it is therefore entirely dependent on voluntary donations”.

Anson Group is always pleased to support those firms it is associated with and Nimrod Capital is no exception.

John Le Prevost, CEO of Anson Group, commented “At Anson, if we see a need we like to answer it and if we hear of a good cause needing financial support then we are pleased to assist. When Marc Gordon of Nimrod Capital explained the needs of Myeloma UK and the fact he could not attend their Gala Dinner as he would be on a sponsored cycle ride in Israel, for their benefit, Anson were pleased to support him and make a contribution. We wish MyelomaUK a very successful gala evening and we wish Marc a safe and beneficial ride on his bicycle”.
